POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-Marist Director of Athletics Tim Murray announced the hiring of Tim Heneghan for the position of Coordinator of Athletic Events and Facility Operations late Thursday afternoon. Heneghan began his duties with the school September 10th. Heneghan came to Marist from Seton Hall University where he had served as Facility Manager for two years.

"We are extremely excited to have Tim on board at Marist," said Murray. "His experience at Seton Hall will prove to be invaluable as we move forward this year."

At Seton Hall, Heneghan oversaw the facilitation of all on-campus athletic events and managed game operations equipment for the Pirates. He also supervised the building and event staffs, among numerous other duties during his stint in South Orange, N.J.

A 1999 graduate of Loras College (Dubuque, Ia.), Heneghan earned his Master's degree in Sport Management from Indiana State in 2001. While at Indiana State, Heneghan served as graduate marketing assistant, assisting with client-sponsored and non-sponsored athletic in-game promotional events. He also handled all clubhouse duties for the Stadium Golf Course, including hiring, training, staffing and payroll of employees.
