Final Stats

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.- The Marist Volleyball team fell to the Gaels of Iona 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. Scores of the games were 30-14, 30-21 and 30-20 in favor of Iona. With the loss Marist falls to 5-13 overall and 0-3 in the MAAC. Senior Katie Lux chipped in 17 digs for the Red Foxes, while Meghan Cochrane added 18 assists on the afternoon.

Iona proved to be too much however as Beth Holly came away with 47 assists in the three games. Offensively Iona had four players register double digit kills on the day, led by Miki Hogg who registered a total of 14 in the match. Morgan Young hit an impressive .706 with 12 kills in just17 total attacks. Iona moved to 6-14 with the win and 1-0 in the MAAC.

Next up for the Red Foxes will be a home non-conference match against Army on Tuesday. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the McCann Center.
