POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-Marist Director of Athletics Tim Murray announced that Jeremy Kersten has been named to the position of Athletics Business Manager for the Red Foxes. Kersten's duties will include the handling of the department's budgetary items, ticketing matters, summer camps and coordinating of athletic travel for the Red Foxes' 23 Division I sports.

A Hamburg, N.Y. native, Kersten comes to Poughkeepsie after serving at Buffalo State for two years as the school's Home Events Coordinator/Ticket Manager. There, he was responsible for all facets of ticket sales and supervised more than 30 student workers.

Kersten, a 2002 graduate of Canisius in finance and information systems, earned his Master's degree in Sport Administration from the school last May.
