JERSEY CITY, N.J.-Juan Gaviria tallied two goals and an assist to lead the Saint Peter's men's soccer squad over Marist 4-2 in Jersey City, N.J. Sunday evening. Saint Peter's improved to 6-5-1 overall and 2-0 in the MAAC, while the Red Foxes dropped to 3-6-1 overall in 1-1 in the MAAC.

Anthony Graci and Ben Castor registered goals for the Red Foxes, the defending MAAC champions. Keith Detelj picked up an assist on Castor's goal, which came in the 63rd minute. Graci's marker came in the fourth minute of action and was unassisted.

Marco Orias also posted a goal and an assist for the Peacocks, while Damion Gaynor tallied the fourth Saint Peter's goal.

Marist's Michael Danyo made three saves in net, while the Peacocks' Pat Nagawiecki stopped six Red Foxes' shots.

The Red Foxes face Loyola, the 2004 MAAC regular season champion, Friday at 7 p.m. in Poughkeepsie.
