BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Steve Burtt scored 38 points to lead Iona to a 92-88 victory over Marist on Monday at the Arena at Harbor Yard.

Burtt was 4-of-7 from 3-point range, 11-of-23 overall from the field and made 12 of 14 free throws for the Gaels (12-14, 8-8 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Greg Jenkins added 21 points for Iona on 8-of-12 shooting.

Will Whittington led Marist (11-13, 8-8) with 29 points. Shae McNamara added 15, and Will McClurkin had 11.
