Fairfield, CT - The women's tennis team lost just one match en route to a 6-1 victory over MAAC foe Fairfield this afternoon. The Red Foxes improved to 6-3 on the season and 2-0 in conference. Senior Diana Perachio and freshman Erin Godly picked up a big win at first doubles, and each also won her respective singles contest. Yana Tikhonko led the way with a win in first singles and she teamed up with newcomer Inge Le-Grange to take an 8-0 win at second doubles.

The Red Foxes will be back in action this weekend when they host MAAC opponent St. Peter's at 12:00 p.m. at the Dutchess Racquet Club.
