Final Stats

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist women's tennis team remains perfect in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play following a 6-1 win over Loyola at the Marist Tennis Pavilion on Sunday. The Red Foxes, who won their sixth straight match, now stand at 7-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Freshman Alexa Strange (Valencia, Calif.) posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory for the Red Foxes at fifth singles. Marist also received decisive wins from Christine Ong (Tarzana, Calif.), who earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles, and Erin Godly (Little Silver, N.J.), who earned a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at third singles. Marist also swept the three doubles matches to take the doubles point.

Marist will return to action on April 10 with a MAAC match at Fairfield.
