WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Marist men's soccer was downed by Quinnipiac on Sunday, 3-1, in the Army Tournament. Two Red Foxes - sophomore Tyler DeBari (Farmington, Conn.) and freshman Steven Morales (Farmingdale, N.Y.) - were named to the all-tournament team.

The lone goal for the Red Foxes against Quinnipiac came from sophomore Corey Perkins (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), who headed in a cross from junior Steve Fantuzzo (Penfield, N.Y.) at the 66:06 mark to cut Marist's deficit to 2-1. However, Graicano Brito scored just over 10 minutes later to put the Bobcats back up by two.

Making his second consecutive start, red-shirt junior goalkeeper Daniel Owens (Port Jefferson, Station, N.Y.) made 12 saves for the Red Foxes, who were outshot by a 27-12 margin. Senior Shareif Ali (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) and junior Chris Nacca (Rochester, N.Y.) led the Red Foxes with three shots apiece.

Marist fell to 1-3-1 overall, and Quinnipiac improved to 4-0. The Red Foxes will return to action on Wednesday, when they take on Central Connecticut State at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh at 7 p.m.
