WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Marist volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Army on Tuesday, falling by game scores of 30-22, 30-27 and 30-22. Sophomore outside hitter Alexandra Schultze (Austin, Texas) led the Red Foxes with 17 kills and added nine digs, while sophomore setter Dawn Jan (Belleville, N.J.) recorded 29 assists and six digs.
Freshman libero Emily Brosky (Whitehall, Pa.) led Marist with 17 digs. Freshman outside hitter Joanna Foss (Northville, Mich.) totaled nine kills and six digs.
The loss for the Red Foxes was their second straight. They will attempt to rebound this weekend in the Trident Classic, hosted by Navy. Marist will take on Central Connecticut on Friday at 4 p.m., Navy on Saturday at 1 p.m. and NJIT on Saturday at 4 p.m.
