POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Marist women's tennis team dropped a match to Binghamton 6-1 on Sunday afternoon. The loss drops Marist to 0-4. Junior Emily Zampello (Kingwood, Texas) was the only Red Fox to get in the win column.
Zampello knocked off Erica Rosenblum 3-6, 1-0 (retired) in fourth singles. Binghamton won the rest of the singles matches in straight sets. Marist went 0-3 in doubles action, taking only one game.
The Red Foxes will return to action when they visit Albany on March 7.
