ALBANY, N.Y. -- The Marist women's tennis team continued to dominate the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a 6-1 win over rival Siena on Wednesday in Albany. Erin Godly (Verona, Ky.), Cassie Strange (Valencia, Calif.), Alexa Strange (Valencia, Calif.), Emily Zampello (Kingwood, Texas) were all double winners in the win.

Christine Ong (Tarzana, Calif.) was the only Red Fox to lose. The senior fell to Sarah Mayer 6-0, 6-1 in first singles action.

Godly defeated Karina Davis in second singles 6-1, 6-4, and in third singles, Cassie Strange had no trouble in a 6-1, 6-2 win over Jessica Asselin.

Alexa Strange defeated Lauren Garbade 6-1, 6-2 in fourth singles, and Colon breezed by Dinka Keric 6-1, 6-1 in fifth singles. Junior Emily Zampello breezed by Jennifer Messing 6-1, 6-0.

The Red Foxes took all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.

Marist (6-7, 5-0 MAAC) has now won 12 straight regular season MAAC matches and six of seven overall since an 0-6 start.

They will return to the courts on Saturday when they host Niagara and St. Peter's in a doubleheader beginning at 9 a.m.
