KISSIMMEE, FLA. – The Marist Athletics Department announced that it will stream live audio of eight of Marist's 12 softball matchups during the 2010 Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla., from March 14-19. The Red Foxes will play 12 games over the seven-day stretch from March 13-20. Assistant Sports Information Director Andy Alongi will have the call.
The broadcast schedule will kick off on Sunday, March 14 as the Red Foxes take on Colgate and 2009 Ohio Valley Conference champion Tennessee-Martin at 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., respectively. Marist will continue its trip against Army and Columbia on the morning of March 15.
Following a day off on March 16, Marist will take on Akron and Wisconsin-Green Bay on March 17, before its final day off of the trip on March 18. The broadcast schedule concludes on Friday, March 19 as the Red Foxes take on Cleveland State and Lafayette at 9 a.m., and 11 a.m., respectively.
Under second-year head coach Joe Ausanio, the Marist softball team will appear in the Rebel Spring Games for the second time in program history, which starts for the team on Saturday, March 13 with games against Butler and defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference champion Florida A&M.
Marist is currently 1-3 in the 2010 season and won its last game, a 2-1 decision over George Mason on Sunday, March 7.
