Marist Softball’s Kiley Myers Honored as MAAC Student-Athlete of the Year

Graduate Pitcher is Eighth Red Fox in School History to Earn Prestigious Honor

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Graduate pitcher Kiley Myers of the Marist University softball team was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Female Student-Athlete of the Year on Wednesday.

Myers' efforts in the circle were instrumental in the Red Foxes winning a school-record 48 games this season. Her 23 victories set a single-season school record, and her 11 shutouts were tied for the most in the NCAA. Myers' 23 career shutouts set a conference record, and the final one of her career came in Marist's first NCAA Regional win in program history, an 8-0 triumph over Saint Francis. She was ranked #85 in D1Softball's Top 100 Mid-Major Players for the 2025 season.

Myers was named Most Outstanding Player of the MAAC Softball Championship this season for the second time in her career, becoming just the sixth player in conference history to accomplish this feat. She was named First Team All-MAAC for the second straight year, following a 2024 season in which she was named the conference's Co-Pitcher of the Year. Myers has been named NFCA All-Region each of the last three years, with a First Team nod in 2025. In her career, Myers won 17 MAAC weekly awards, including 15 Pitcher of the Week honors.

In the classroom, Myers majored in Criminal Justice as an undergraduate, and she then earned her Master of Business Administration. She made the Dean's List in all eight of her semesters as an undergraduate. Myers was a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection each of the last three years.

Myers is the first Marist softball player to be named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Year. She is the seventh female student-athlete in school history to earn this award, and eighth student-athlete overall. The total of seven Marist female student-athletes honored is the most of any school in MAAC history.
