Final Stats

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Marist women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Army on Sunday afternoon at the Litchenberg Tennis Center on the campus of the United States Military Academy. Coming off a 5-2 victory on Saturday versus Seton Hall, the Black Knights continued their fast start to the spring season versus the Red Foxes.

Sophomore Kelsey Raynor (Garden City, N.Y.) had Marist's best chance of victory in her 6-4, 6-3 second singles match loss to Army's Jessica Ahn.

In doubles action, the number one team of junior Erin McCarthy (Salem, N.J.) and sophomore Joana Sun (Gales Ferry, Conn.) lost a close 8-6 match to Army's Annie Houghton and Jessica Ahn.

Marist will return to action on Saturday, March 5 against Colgate in Hamilton, New York.
