"We are very excited to be in this position heading into the Fairfield match," said head coach Katherine Lyn. "The Preseason Coaches' Poll ranked them ahead of us. It's definitely going to be a battle. This win will help the girls keep our confidence to get that necessary goal and not see another overtime. Fairfield is going to be one of our great opponents this season. Hopefully we will come out on top."
Marist hits the road for a two MAAC games: Sept. 28 at Fairfield and Oct. 2 at Siena. The Red Foxes return home on Saturday, Oct. 5 to face Rider. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Tenney Stadium.
