POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist Athletics Department launched the redesigned GoRedFoxes.com on Wednesday. The department worked with its website partner NeuLion over the last six months to develop a user-friendly website with a sleek design that delivers news and information to fans. NeuLion is an industry leader in the creation and maintenance of official athletic websites, on-demand and live video streaming, and mobile applications for colleges and universities.
The new GoRedFoxes.com home page will feature the most important and engaging items. The design allows for more interaction with more prominent display of photos and videos on both the home page and sport landing pages. The following improvements have been made to the site:
- - Easier access to purchase tickets and the ability to make online donations
- - Newly designed schedule and results section that will allow fans to easily find upcoming games, scores and statistics
- - A profile section features various student-athletes from Marist's 23 Division I sports
- - Deeper social media integration across all of Marist Athletics official platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
- - Better layout with easier access to links and multimedia within article pages
In addition to these improvements, new buttons have been added to the website header to create quicker access to the Marist Athletics social media accounts. A live Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feed are also featured on the site. The Red Fox Network is prominently displayed and offers a directory of the most recent on-demand videos. A new video player has been created to allow easier viewing.
