School Record 375 Marist Student-Athletes Named to MAAC Academic Honor Roll

Red Foxes’ Honorees Hail from 31 States & 22 Countries

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist Athletics Department set a school record with 375 Red Foxes named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.
 
The previous record of 354 was set in the 2022-23 school year. This is the sixth straight year Marist has had at least 300 honorees.
 
Marist's honorees come from 31 states (Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin) plus Washington, DC.
 
The honorees also represent 22 countries (United States, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden).
 
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC, with all 24 conference-sponsored sports represented. The student-athletes honored cover 21 of the Red Foxes' 23 Division I sports, with the exception of football and men's rowing.
