CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior Jacob Baker (Shavertown, Pa.) was named the Corvias Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division I Metro/Upstate Diver of the Week, the conference announced Jan. 14. It was the second time in his career he received the regional conference honor.

Baker set a personal best by winning the 3-meter dive with a score of 320.48 points in Marist's 162-118 win over Southern Connecticut State on Jan. 10. His total exceeded the NCAA Zone qualifying standard. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Diver of the Week also won the 1-meter dive after racking up 271.72 points.    

The Red Foxes (6-2, 4-1 MAAC) compete in their first of three regular season meets before the MAAC Championships at 1 p.m. Jan. 17 when they face Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
