POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's basketball team officially kicked-off their 2015-16 season as the team held practice Monday morning at McCann Arena. The first practice starts a stretch of thirty practice days used to prepare for the 2015-16 regular season.
The Red Foxes return seven upperclassmen from last season, including All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and tournament players Sydney Coffey and Tori Jarosz.
Marist will open the 2015-16 season at South Dakota State on Friday, Nov. 13 following an exhibition against Holy Family on Sunday, Nov. 8. The Red Foxes' regular season home opener takes place on Thursday, Nov. 19 against Delaware. The team kicks-off conference play on Thursday, Dec. 3 against Quinnipiac in a rematch of last year's MAAC Championship final.
