POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist student athletes took part in a school wide Walk Against Hunger on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The event was part of the college's celebration of hunger awareness month for November.

The walk began at the Champagnat, continued toward Sheahan Hall, headed down past Tenney Stadium, out the South Gate, up Route 9, in through the Main Gate and back to Champagnat. The event lasted roughly 30 minutes and participants donated $3 to take part.

In 2014, 814 students, faculty and staff took part in the event.
