EDISON, NEW JERSEY – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference named junior distance runner Nicki Nesi (Pelham, New York) with weekly honors for her performance last weekend. Nesi was honored as the MAAC Women's Track Performer of the Week.

Nesi won the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Saturday in the Marist women's track & field team's first event of the outdoor season at the Monmouth Season Opener. Nesi posted a time of 11:17.72, as she took first place by over 37 seconds.

The Red Foxes will return to action on Friday, April 3 to participate in the Stanford Invitational.
