POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK – The Marist women's tennis team had their four game conference winning streak snapped on Wednesday afternoon as they fell to the Quinnipiac Bobcats, 5-2, at the East Campus Tennis Pavilion.

The Bobcats came out strong as they took all three of the doubles matches to earn the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead in the match.

Quinnipiac fared well in singles as well as they were able to take four of the six singles matches and remain undefeated in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play.

Junior Karly Pang (Kaneohe, Hawaii) and freshman Claire Schmitz (Scotia, N.Y.) were the two bright spots for the Red Foxes as they bounced back from their doubles defeat to win their singles matches in straight sets.

The Red Foxes hit the road for the long road trip to Buffalo as they take on Niagara, Saturday, April 18, start time to be announced.
