Another 7-0 Gaels' surge gave them their largest lead of the half at eight with 1:17 to play, but the Red Foxes cut their deficit to 43-38 going into halftime on a right wing three-pointer by Parker in the closing seconds.

Marist cut its deficit to one on two occasions in the second half, but never tied or took the lead. The Gaels expanded their lead thanks to a 15-3 run between the 11:10 and 5:51 marks. The Red Foxes scored 18 points in the final 5:35, but never trailed by less than seven in this span.
