HANOVER, New Hampshire – The Marist women's basketball team picked up a tough road win over the Dartmouth Big Green, 66-61, Saturday afternoon at the Leede Arena in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Propelled by 12 first half points from Henningsdottir and eight from Rebekah Hand, the Red Foxes finished the first half 11-for-28 from the field but just 4-for-14 from three.
After being outscored 16-13 in the first quarter, Marist responded by outscoring Dartmouth 15-14 in the second quarter.
While holding Dartmouth scoreless from the 7:13 minute mark until 2:28 remaining in the third, the Red Foxes rattled off an 8-0 run to take a 41-34 lead.
The Big Green responded with a 7-0 run of their own to tie at 41-41 with less than a minute left in the third. A three pointer from Henningsdottir as time expired in the third sent the Red Foxes to the fourth with a three point lead.
A 4-0 run for Dartmouth snapped to start the fourth was snapped by a Rebekah Hand free throw line jumper to take the lead again.
Another Henningsdottir three moments later then pushed the Red Foxes lead to four. The Big Green battled back again and tied the game at 56 with just over two minutes to go. An 8-0 run as the result of strong defensive stops and a parade to the free throw line pushed the Red Foxes ahead 64-58 with just over :30 seconds to go.
A Dartmouth triple cut it to a one possession game with :27 seconds left but more free throws from Marist sealed the deal for the Red Foxes.
