EASTON, Pennsylvania – The Marist women's tennis team blanked the Lafayette Leopards, 7-0, Saturday afternoon in a non-conference dual match held in Easton, Pennsylvania.

The third team pairing of Sophia Moeller and Ariel Shulman led off for Marist, winning their match against Lafayette's Megan Reilling and Haley Matthews, 6-0.

Karlene Pang and Chloe Lant then clinched the doubles point for Marist defeating Caroline Nixon and Rocine Moschella, 6-1. Claire Schmitz and Caroline Lozo also completed their doubles match from the second position, winning 6-1.

The Red Foxes then moved on to singles play where they were just as dominant. Elizabeth Brozovich won Marist's first singles match of the day, defeating Madison Olexson in straight sets. Lozo then won from the second singles position and Shulman then clinched the match for the Red Foxes with a win at the fourth singles position.

Lant, Pang, and Schmitz also all clinched their matches, defeating their Leopard opposition in straight sets.

Marist now stands at 3-6 overall on the season and returns to action next Saturday, March 12th against Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
