PENNINGTON, New Jersey – The Marist men's cross country team placed second out of eight teams at the Rider Invite on Friday evening. The Red Foxes finished with a total of 51 points, one behind Siena, who placed first with 50 points.

Matt Baffuto was the top overall finisher for Marist, placing third with an overall time of 24:49.41, while Spencer Johnson finished second on the team and eighth overall with a time of 24:59.81. Alex Hogue in 10^th place with a time of 25:02.93, Dietrich Mosel in 13^th place with an overall time of 25:09.62 and Saad Baig in 17^th place with a time of 25:14.49 rounded out the top five for the Red Foxes.

Up next, Marist will travel to Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT for the Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 24^th.
