POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's cross country team saw four runners occupy top-10 spots, as the Red Foxes hosted its opening meet of the 2025 season, the Marist Home Invite on Saturday. Following the meet the program hosted its senior day ceremony, honoring its three senior athletes. The event took place at Vassar Farms in Poughkeepsie, New York.
The men's team took home first overall with a total of 34 points, putting them 20 points ahead of second place Iona.Â
The freshmen stole the show for the men, earning the team's two top finishes. Isaac Gross led the way with a first place overall finish with a time of 19:19.7.
Chase Kober came in at 19:40.4, earning him second for Marist and fourth overall at his first collegiate race.Â
Sophomores Sanjith Nomula (6th) and
Kevin Cannon (13th) both raced PRs
with times of 19:42.5 and 19:51.1.
