POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's tennis team will travel to Lawrenceville, New Jersey on Tuesday for their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup of the season against the Rider Broncs. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Foxes competed in the Hofstra Pride Invitational on September 29th and 30th on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Freshman Sophia Chavarria won the C flight consolation finals, while Julia Gabay and Claire Schmitz lost in the A doubles bracket consolation finals.

SCOUTING RIDER
The Broncs are 1-6 and have lost six consecutive matches on the year. Rider has not recorded a win in MAAC play (0-4) thus far this season. In their previous outing on October 14th, Rider lost 7-0 on the road against the Siena Saints in Loudonville, New York.

UP NEXT
Marist will head to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from October 18th - October 21st and compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Tournament.
