BRONX, New York – Senior captain Dietrich Mosel capped his cross country career in historic style, notching one of the best finishes in school history to lead the Marist men's cross country team to a 10^th place finish out of 26 teams at the 109^th annual IC4A Championships, held Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
 
Mosel earned IC4A All-East honors by placing 12^th overall out of 203 finishers in the race. In the process, his time of 25:38.2 ranks him 10^th all-time in the 54-year history of Marist men's cross country at the historic 5-mile course.
 
A tight scoring pack followed Mosel across the line. Junior Palmer Weimann became the 40^th fastest runner on the course in school history with his time of 26:27.3, good for 49^th place in the race. Sophomore Chris Rivas (26:38.7), junior Mike Kennedy (26:43.0) and sophomore Alex Hogue (26:47.3) followed in close succession.
 
The race concludes the cross country season for the team.
