POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team (2-9) finishes non-conference play on Friday afternoon, when the Red Foxes travel to Ivy League foe Brown (5-5) for the first time in program history. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
This is the third straight year Marist and Brown have met. The previous two meetings have occurred at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, and both were captured by the Red Foxes. Marist leads the all-time series, 3-1, with the first two meetings both occurring in the 1990s at the Pepsi-Marist Classic.

Last Time Out
Marist was defeated at Murray State by a score of 100-63 on Saturday, Dec. 16.
Brian Parker led the Red Foxes with 20 points (5-for-9 from the field, 2-for-3 from three-point range, 8-for-10 from the free-throw line).
David Knudsen added 15 points and three assists. Terrell Miller Jr. led five Racers who scored in double digits with a game-high 21 points. Miller did not miss a shot (8-for-8 from the field, 5-for-5 from three-point range).
The Opponent
Brown is 5-5 overall. This is the Bears' first game since Saturday, Dec. 9, when they recorded an 89-75 home victory over UMass Lowell. Brandon Anderson leads Brown in scoring at 19.6 points per game. As a team, the Bears shoot .793 from the free-throw line. Head coach Mike Martin is in his sixth season at the helm.
