POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's basketball team gets it going in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play Thursday evening when the team faces off against the Rider Broncs in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
PREVIOUS OUTING
After a dominant third quarter that saw Marist go on a 19-0 run and surpass its most points ever in a quarter, the Red Foxes cruised to an 88-60 win over UMass Thursday afternoon at the Mullins Center. With the win, the Red Foxes closed out non-conference action at 4-8 overall.

BRONCS HISTORY
The Red Foxes hold a 41-16 advantage over Rider in the all-time series against the Broncs but have dropped their last two games against the Broncs after getting swept in the season series last year. Last season's wins for the Broncs snapped a 27 game losing streak against Marist. The Broncs' picked up a 69-56 win in the first meeting and a 65-46 win in the second contest. The two wins against Marist were part of a historic season for Rider in which the team finished 24-9 overall and made a trip to the MAAC Championship game as well as a berth in the WNIT.
SCOUTING THE BRONCS
Rider dropped its last contest before the winter break to Binghamton, 76-54, last Thursday and stand at 3-8 overall. Kamia Hoskova is one of two scorers in double figures for the Broncs as she leads the team with a 15.5 ppg pace. After an outstanding freshman campaign, Stella Johnson continues to score for Rider. Johnons averages 13.4 point per game and is the team's best shooter from the perimeter at .379 (11-for29).
