THINGS TO WATCH
- Last game against Rhode Island, Maura Fitzpatrick set a career high in steals with four. Her impact on the defensive end was evident and translated over to the rest of her game.
- The Red Foxes are 0-5 when getting out-rebounded by their opponent and 2-2 when grabbing more boards. If Marist can control the paint it will go a long way in earning a win. The Red Foxes currently average 35.2 rebounds per game while BU averages 37.7. So far this season Marist gives up an average of 37.6 rebounds a contest.
- Marist is also 0-6 when they have less free throw attempts than their opponent. With their free throw shooting trending up the last couple of games it will be important for the Red Foxes to get to the line early and often.
- The Terriers are currently shooting .440 from the field and .366 from three. The Red Foxes opp. FG% is currently .414 while the opp 3FG% is .322.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Boston University currently sits at 5-2 overall, a marked improvement over last year's early season record. The Terriers are led in points by freshman Katie Nelson, who averages 13.7 points per game. Nelson has been on fire from deep so far this season, shooting 21-for-47 (.447). The Red Foxes have won the last four matchups with the Terriers and now lead the all-time series 7-6.
