WEST POINT, New York – The Marist women's tennis team dropped a dual match to the Army West Point Black Knights Saturday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Red Foxes are now 3-2 overall on the season.

The Black Knights took the doubles point after winning at the second and third positions. Army West Point's Ari Spirtos and Steph Johnson defeated Callie Morlock and Ariel Shulman 6-2 and Ruglie Valiunaite and Sera Martorelli defeated Amy Galloway and Claire Schmitz, 6-3.

In singles play Army's Danna Funaro defeated Sophia Moeller in straight sets from the singles spot and Spirtos won again from the second position.

Army West Point then clinched the match from the number six position when Martorelli defeated Elizabeth Brozovich, 6-3, 6-1.

The Red Foxes' Amy Galloway played a singles exhibition match against Anmol Narang and won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

Up next, the Red Foxes will travel to Binghamton, N.Y. where they will face the Bearcats on Friday, Mar. 10 at 7 p.m.
