POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist women's tennis team lost to Colgate, 5-2, in a non-conference clash April 18. With one match to go in the regular season, the Red Foxes are 8-6 overall.

Marist swept the doubles matches, as sophomores Ariel Shulman and Chloe Lant and sophomore Sophia Moeller and freshman Amy Galloway won 6-3 and 6-2 respectively. Senior Callie Morlock and junior Claire Schmitz teamed up to take down senior Kirstie Woodbury and freshman Lauren O'Brien at no. 3.

Shulman was the lone singles winner, defeating O'Brien in straight sets.

The Red Foxes will conclude the 2017 regular season when they host Quinnipiac at 1 p.m. April 22.
