POUGHKEEPSIE, New York — The Marist College women's soccer team and the Quinnipiac Bobcats played to a 1-1 tie Saturday afternoon at Tenney Stadium. Each team netted a goal in regulation, but no one was able to end it in either overtime period. Marist now stands at 2-0-1 in the MAAC, with a 5-4-2 overall record.
SUMMARY
All of the scoring in this match came in the second half. In the 60th minute, Quinnipiac would strike first after a header by Madison Borowiec. She now is tied for the second most goals scored for the Bobcats. The Red Foxes were down to their last breath, and they came through in the 88th minute. Nicole Sasso tied it up off the assist from Tori Flaherty to send it into overtime. Marist had a chance to win the game in the first overtime when Hope Quinonez attempted a penalty kick in the 96th minute, but Bobcat goalkeeper Olivia Myszewski came up with the save.

- Quinnipiac scored its first goal in the 60th minute thanks to Borowiec's fourth goal of the season.
- With the Red Foxes down to their final chances, they capitalized on a corner kick by Flaherty. To that point Marist had dominated play in the second half.
