JERSEY CITY, New Jersey – Every Red Fox that saw minutes scored as the Marist women's basketball team took down the Saint Peter's Peacocks, 86-53, Tuesday evening at the Yanitelli Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The win is the Red Foxes second in a row and moves the team back to .500 at 10-10 overall and 6-2 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The loss puts Saint Peter's at 3-16 overall and winless in conference play at 0-8.
SUMMARY
- The Red Foxes would hold an 18-11 lead after the first quarter and 41-25 lead at halftime.
- A 10-0 run in the second quarter while holding Saint Peter's scoreless for over five minutes gave the Red Foxes a 35-18 lead and the cushion they would need throughout.
