POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team (3-4 overall, 3-1 Pioneer Football League) returns to action on Saturday, when the Red Foxes travel to Morehead State (3-4, 2-2). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

- Marist earned a 48-41 double overtime victory over Davidson on Homecoming & Reunion Weekend. The Red Foxes rebounded from a 17-point deficit in the third quarter. Red-shirt freshman quarterback Austin Day threw for a program-record 440 yards and five touchdowns, while senior wide receiver Juston Christian caught eight passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns. Christian was named PFL Offensive Player of the Week.
- Morehead State is coming off a 31-24 home victory against Valparaiso. Sayyid Kanu was named PFL Defensive Player of the Week after recording nine tackles and intercepting a pass on Valparaiso's final drive. Quarterback Lawson Page accounted for 420 yards of total offense (352 passing, 68 rushing), and four touchdowns (two passing, two rushing). Â
- Marist is looking for its third straight win overall, and fourth straight victory in PFL play. The Red Foxes last had a four-game PFL winning streak in 2016.
- Marist leads the all-time series with Morehead State, 3-2. The last four meetings have all been decided by seven points or less. The road team has won four times in the series.
- Marist has outscored its opponents 31-0 in the fourth quarter of its three wins this season.
- Christian, who has 3,791 career receiving yards, is 14 yards away from becoming the PFL's all-time leader in receiving yardage. The record is currently held by Valparaiso's Rob Giancola, who had 3,803 yards from 2001-04.
- Marist has overcome a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to win in each of its last two games. Prior to this, the Red Foxes had accomplished this feat twice in the previous 10 seasons. Â
