QUOTE OF THE DAY
"We took care of business at home, and I would say we dominated most of the game. We had the majority of the possession and a ton of chances, so we did our jobs today" lauded Coach Matt Viggiano. "They tend to get frustrated when the ball isn't going into the net, like in the first half when we hit the post and the crossbar. At halftime we told them to just stick to their principles and the chances will come, and some will go in. At the beginning of the year we didn't think we'd have trouble scoring goals and our issues would come from keeping the ball in the back of the net, but it's kind of been the reverse. The guys should be proud of themselves; this is the best we've ever finished. We're at home for a playoff game. We had that situation a couple years ago and we came out a little flat. The guys that were here can learn from that, and if we play our game we feel we can beat anyone in the conference."
