POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The men's soccer team will travel to nearby Siena College for an away contest this Saturday, October 6 at noon. This will be the red foxes 4
th MAAC game of the season.
The red foxes won a close contest with the Iona Gaels 2-1 on Wednesday night. Freshman
Skylar Conway scored his first career goal to put Marist on the board, and just a few minutes later
Beau Hornberger notched his first career goal as well.
Ryan Sinnott and the rest of the defense came up with a huge saves and blocks throughout the match to keep the lead secure. The Red Foxes played a man down the entire second half of the game, but still held an advantage in shots over the Gaels.
The Saints are currently 3-5-3 after falling to Manhattan College 1-0 in their latest game. Aaron Martin is the leading scored for the team with three goals and two assists. Greg Monroe is the main keeper for the squad, making 55 saves in the season for a save percentage of .764. Like Marist, Siena is 2-1-0 in MAAC play with wins over Monmouth and Niagara.
