POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist women's soccer team will host the St. Peters Peacocks this Saturday, October 6Â at 1:00pm at Tenney Stadium. This will be Marist's 5
th MAAC game and second MAAC game at home.

Marist suffered their first conference loss to the Niagara Purple Eagles on Wednesday afternoon.
Bianca Furci scored her second career goal in the 33rd minute to put Marist on the board. However, a penalty kick led to a goal in the 80
th minute and sealed the 3-1 victory for Niagara.Â

The Peacocks are 2-8 overall, and 2-2 in the MAAC. In their last game, they defeated Quinnipiac 1-0 . Alexandria Couto scored the game's only goal with the first shot on goal. With that tally, she moves into the the lead scorer position for Saint Peter's along with Brooke Boutchie with two apiece. Victoria Scarratt has made 54 saves in goal for a save percentage of .659.

The Red Fox seniors will be honored before the game for their hard work and commitment as part of the program. The members of the Marist women's soccer Class of 2019 amassed over 30 wins and 19 conference wins in their four years on campus. Between the seniors, three have been selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team and two have been named All-MAAC Team members.

Marist will host the Monmouth hawks on Wednesday October 10
th at 7pm for at Tenney Stadium for another MAACÂ matchup.
