POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist Women's soccer team will host first-place Monmouth on Wednesday, October 11th at Tenney Stadium at 7:00 PM. Monmouth and Marist sit one-two in the standings at 5-1 and 4-1 respectively. The winner of Wednesday's match will hold first place and the tiebreaker.
 

LAST TIME OUT

The Red Foxes got the win at home last time out as they beat Saint Peter's 3-1. Junior Bianca Furci scored the first goal in the 30th minute off an assist by junior Alexa Svensson. Marist would jump ahead in the 57th minute after a low cross from freshman Victoria Colatosti deflected off a Saint Peter's player and into the back of the net, putting Marist ahead 2-1.
 

SCOUTING MONMOUTH

Monmouth is 5-1 in the MAAC and 10-3-1 overall. After losing their first conference game, they have won five straight games. On Saturday, October 1st, they defeated Quinnipiac4-1. Goalkeeper Amanda Knaub had eight saves and Dana Scheriff scored two goals.
