POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Finishing the season 6-2-2 for their best MAAC record ever, the men's soccer team earned the third seed in the conference tournament. With this result, the Red Foxes will host sixth seed Saint Peter's on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the MAAC Quarterfinals.

• Marist opened conference play with a 2-0 victory at Saint Peter's on September 26.
• Samad Bounthong scored on a penalty kick in the 85th minute to ice the game and bring home the win.
• The Red Fox defense allowed just one shot on goal, which was saved by a diving Ryan Sinnott.

• Saint Peter's holds the #6 seed entering the MAAC tournament after posting am 8-8-2 overall record and a 5-4-1 MAAC record.
• This is the team's first playoff berth since 2010.
• In their last game of the regular season, the Peacocks fell to Siena 2-0. Jordan Jowers had four shots, three of which were on goal.
• Dominic Laws leads the team with eight goals and three assists. Four players have scored four goals or more.                                               

• The Red Foxes earned 20 points in the MAAC standings this season (three for a win, one for a tie) to eclipse their previous high of 18 points..
• Marist is tied for second in the conference in fewest goals allowed (17) and shutouts (5).
• Allen Gavilanes is tied for second in the MAAC with six assists, 
• Ryan Sinnott is ranked second in the conference in goals-against average (.73), save percentage (.823) and shutouts (5).
• Three Red Foxes are in the double digits in points. Allen Gavilanes with 14 (4G, 6A), Samad Bounthong with 12 (5G, 2A) and Skylar Conway with 10 (3G, 4A).
