POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team (5-4 overall, 5-1 Pioneer Football League) will play its final road game of the regular season on Saturday, when the Red Foxes travel to face Drake (5-3, 4-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern in Des Moines, Iowa.
Marist is currently tied for second place in the PFL with Stetson at 5-1. Drake is right behind both of them with a 4-2 overall record. Marist is currently one game out of first place, only behind undefeated San Diego. Â

- Marist hosted Valparaiso at Tenney Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 3. The Red Foxes defeated the Crusaders 35-24, tying the program record with its fifth straight PFL win. Marist piled it on early, scoring 28 points in the second quarter, including 21 in a span of 5:21. Red-shirt sophomore Jacob Hallenback finished 15-for-25 for 215 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Senior Brandon Miller had two interceptions in the fourth quarter, helping close out the game.
- Drake is coming off a 27-10 loss by the hands of San Diego on Saturday, Nov. 3. Steven Doran was the leading receiver in the game, catching seven passes for 96 yards. The lone Drake touchdown was scored on a 27-yard interception return by Jeran Proctor.
- Senior wide receiver Juston Christian was named to the Watch List for the Walter Payton Award. He is the second Red Foxes to be named to a Watch List for a Football Championship Subdivision major award this season. In the preseason, red-shirt senior linebacker Willie Barrett was named to the Watch List for the Buck Buchanan Award.
- With one touchdown, Christian will set a new single-season record for receiving touchdowns with 13. He is currently tied at 12 with Armani Martin, who accomplished the feat in 2013.
- With a win, Marist will set a new program record with six straight PFL victories.
- Miller leads the Red Foxes with four interceptions, all four having come in the fourth quarter of a Marist a victory. Miller is part of a defense that ranks 16th in the FCS and first in the PFL in Red Zone Defense, allowing the opposition to score on just 71 percent of its trips inside the Marist 20.
- This is the Red Foxes' first trip to Drake since 2014. Marist is looking for its first win at Drake in its fourth try, and its first victory overall against the Bulldogs in what will be the seventh meeting between the teams.

Marist returns home to Tenney Stadium, and will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, Nov.17. The Red Foxes will host first-place San Diego. Kickoff is set for noon, with Senior Day ceremonies preceding the contest.
