BUFFALO, New York - Men's cross country finished 21st out of 34 teams at NCAA Division I Northeast Regionals this afternoon. Competing in freezing conditions, the Red Foxes performed well against the top teams from multiple states.

SUMMARY

• Michael Kennedy finished 58th out of 241 total runners in the competition. 
• Kennedy led the squad of Christopher Rivas, Riley Hughes, Alexander Hogue and Conor Stack as they finished 92nd, 109th, 120th and 130th respectively.
• Pre-race favorite Syracuse was the eventual winner as they edged out MAAC Champion Iona.

Gianna and our women proved once again that we are in the upper echelon of this very competitive region" remarked Coach Pete Colaizzo. "Our men, led by Kennedy, ran with great grit and moved through the field very well in the slop. It was a great day for the Running Red Foxes."
 

UP NEXT

The Red Foxes will close out the cross country season at the ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championships next week on November 17. Concluding that, the programs will begin the indoor track season in December.
