POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist volleyball team will close out its regular season this weekend with a two-game road trip. They will take on the Iona Gaels on Saturday, November 10th at 1 PM and then will play their final game of the season against the Manhattan Jaspers on Sunday, November 11th at 1 PM.

The Red Foxes defeated the Fairfield Stags 3-1 on Sunday, November 4th in Fairfield, Connecticut. With the win, Marist extended its winning streak to three games. Junior Nicki DeSerpa led the Red Foxes with 15 kills in the match, followed by sophomore
Sarah Austin with nine kills. Senior Taylor Van Der Biezen led Marist in service aces (2), total blocks (6), and assists (38). Freshman
Morgan Owens led the way with 17 digs.

The Gaels currently sit atop the MAAC with a 14-2 conference record, and are 16-7 overall. Last time out, they were defeated 3-2 by the Rider Broncs on Sunday, November 4th. Claire Archibald led Iona with 15 kills in the match.
Marist hosted the Gaels on Sunday, October 7th, but were defeated 3-1 at McCann Arena. DeSerpa and Austin each had 17 kills in the match, pacing the Red Foxes. Freshman
Chidera Udeh had a match high seven total blocks.

The Jaspers are 2-13 in the MAAC this season, and 4-24 overall. Manhattan is currently on a 5-game losing streak, and hasn't won a home match since October 13 against the Quinnipiac Bobcats. Last time out, the Jaspers were defeated 3-2 by Saint Peter's on Sunday, November 4th. Erin Hoener led Manhattan with 16 kills.
The Jaspers traveled to McCann Arena on Saturday, October 6th, and the Red Foxes took care of business, winning the match 3-1. DeSerpa had a match-high 18 kills. Van Der Biezen dished out 51 assists.

Stephanie Stone and
Megan Fergus are both approaching 200 total blocks in their respective careers. Stone will reach the milestone with six total blocks over the weekend, while Fergus needs seven total blocks to also reach the important milestone.
