POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist Women's Basketball team will travel to take on the Iona Gaels Tuesday night in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action. It is the Red Foxes final road game of the season and the Gaels final home contest. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Hynes Center in New Rochelle, New York.

PREVIOUS OUTING
The Red Foxes are coming off of on an 80-74 double overtime loss against the Quinnipiac Bobcats.
Rebekah Hand finished the game with 20 points and 11 rebounds, recording her  7
th career and 3
rd double-double this season.

Rebekah Hand all played a career high minutes as the Red Foxes placed four scorers in double-digits.

LAST MATCHUP AGAINST IONA
The Red Foxes started off slow but heated up as they went on to beat the Gaels, 75-55 at McCann Arena. All Marist players who saw the court scored points. Four Red Foxes scored double digits with
Alana Gilmer putting up 14,
Grace Vander Weide adding 13,
Maura Fitzpatrick scoring 11, and
Gabi Redden reaching in scoring with 11 of her own.

SCOUTING THE GAELS
The Gaels sit in 10
th place in the MAAC with an overall record of 2-25. Coming off a 57-48 loss against Manhattan in New Rochelle during their Senior night. Junior Alexis Lewis led the Gaels with her 12
th double-double of the season, finishing the game with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Toyosi Abiola, who was named MAAC Rookie of the Week for the ninth time on Monday, had 14 points for Iona. Amelia Motz had six points and rebounds and a team-best four assists. Jayden Eggleston had four points, and four rebounds against the Jaspers.

IONA HISTORY
The Red Foxes and Gaels series history stands at 38-13 in favor of Marist, although the two teams have split their matchups over the past two seasons.

With the Red Foxes now locked into the #2 seed. The team's first game will be on Friday, March 2 at 3:30 p.m. in the quarterfinal round. Should they win, the remaining schedule is as follows:
