Sam Galu teamed up to defeat the Peacock's Stephanie Falcon and Azuri Hughes, 6-0.
Julia Gabay would clinch the match for Marist, winning at the first singles position, 6-1, 6-1, over Falcon. Moeller would also win her singles match at the third position.
SCOUTING THE BISON
The Bison are coming into the match with a 4-3 overall record. They are coming of a tough 5-2 loss to Youngstown State. Ayuso stayed unbeaten this spring at 3-0 with a three-set win on court five. She took the first set 6-3, dropped the second 6-0, and came through in the clutch with a 6-2 victory in the third. The Bison notched a victory in one of the three doubles matches. Lisa Jouravleva and Paige Leavy improved to 5-2 with a 6-1 win over Sofia Macias and Anastasiia Khokhlova on court one.
SCOUTING LAFAYETTE
Lafayette is coming into the match with a 4-1 overall record. They are coming of a tough 5-2 loss to UC Irvine. Freshman Samantha Snyder was the lone singles winner for the Maroon and White, up 6-2, 3-0 before her opponent retired in the second set. Sophomore Grace Conrad and freshman Alexa Cooke took their matches to three sets, while Lafayette won the doubles point by default.
