Box Score BINGHAMTON, New York - The Marist women's tennis team dropped a close match to Binghamton University in a non-conference matchup on Friday evening, 4-3. The Red Foxes saw their record move to 5-6 overall, and stay 2-0 in the MAAC.
On the doubles side, Binghamton won two out of the three matches. Seniors Claire Schmitz and Elizabeth Brozovich paired up for a 6-4 win. Brozovich was the only Red Fox who was victorious in both her singles and doubles matchups.
The Red Foxes split the six singles matches 3-3 with the Bearcats but due to dropping the doubles point fell in the overall 4-3. Each match went to three sets, except freshman Julia Gabay, who pulled out a win in two dominant sets.Â

Marist will host MAAC rival Monmouth on Saturday, March 24th in the Red Foxes first home match of the season. First serve is scheduled for noon.
