LOUDONVILLE, New York – Behind record breaking performances from several Red Foxes, Marist women's lacrosse defeated Siena 19-7 to close out the regular season as Co-MAAC Champs. Marist also clinched the number one seed for the tournament and will host.

Morgan Jaycox scored her career 100
th point and
Hailey Wagner broke her own single season draw control record. On
Samantha Mehalick's seventh goal of the game, she scored her 100
th goal. Her eighth goal not only tied a single game record, but gave her the single season record.

The Red Foxes burst out of the gates with four goals in the first five minutes from four different scorers. The Saints finally got on the board 15 minutes into the half with Marist leading 7-1. The Saints would not find the back of the net for the rest of half as Mehalick added three goals and
Lauren Mazza notched a goal to take a 12-1 lead.

Mazza and Mehalick each scored to open the second half to take a 14-1 lead. Siena was not giving up easily and scored five unanswered goals to cut into the Red Foxes lead 14-6 with 15 minutes left in the game. The offense found its rhythm again and the Red Foxes went on a 5-1 scoring run to close out the second half.
