PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, New Jersey – The Marist women's rowing team will take part in its season culminating event at the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday morning at the Cooper River Park. The Red Foxes will look to best their runner-up finishes from the last couple of seasons to the eventual champion, Jacksonville University.

LAST YEAR AT MAAC'S
The Marist women's rowing team finished in second place at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships on Lake Mercer at Mercer County Park, falling just short of the program's 11th conference title.

LAST TITLE
The Red Foxes last title came in 2013 when the Marist Women's Rowing team won the MAAC Championship and earned the conference's first automatic NCAA Championships berth.

PREVIOUS OUTING
The Marist women's rowing team traveled to Ithaca, NY this past Saturday to race in dual matches against Colgate, Ithaca, and Hamilton on the Cayuga Inlet. Temperate weather and a tail wind made for great races all day as the Red Foxes took home race wins in multiple races.

HOW TO FOLLOW
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced today that it will air the 2018 MAAC Women's Rowing Championship on MAAC.TV in partnership with the Ivy League and Harvard University. This will mark the first time in conference history that the championship will be streamed live. Co-hosted with the Ivy League and Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA), the MAAC Women's Rowing Championship takes place Saturday, May 13 at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, NJ. Sunday's live coverage begins with heats at 9:20 a.m., finals coverage begins at 12:30 p.m.
